Lantronix Appoints Tech Veteran Michael Fink Vice President of Operations
Irvine, Calif. – February 27, 2012 – Lantronix, Inc. (NASDAQ: LTRX), a leading global provider of smart M2M connectivity solutions, today announced that the company has appointed technology industry Michael A. Fink as vice president of operations. In this role, he is tasked with managing the company’s world-wide manufacturing and supply chain operations.

Fink brings 20 years of experience as a global technology operations professional. He comes to Lantronix from Inphi Corporation, where as Director of Operations for Networking and Communication products, he was instrumental in developing manufacturing partners to support Inphi’s 100G technologies.

Previously, Fink served as Executive Director of Product and Test Engineering at Sierra Monolithics where he was responsible for directing the company’s back-end engineering and manufacturing operations. Fink also served at Mindspeed Technologies as Executive Director of Product and Test Engineering where he played a key role in reducing cost of goods and inventory levels and improved NPI performance that lead to a 200 percent increase in development efficiency. He has also held management positions at Peregrine Semiconductor and Analog Devices in Boston, Massachusetts.
Fink earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and completed graduate work at Northeastern University in Boston in the Digital Communications field.
