Paul Pickle joined Lantronix as president and chief executive officer. Most recently, Mr. Pickle served as president and chief operating officer of Microsemi Corporation, a leading provider of semiconductor and system solutions, from November 2013 until Microsemi was acquired by Microchip Technology Inc. in May 2018. Prior to his position as president and chief operating officer, he served Microsemi as executive vice president, leading business operations of the company’s Integrated Circuits group, where he played an integral role in the planning, developing, and execution of Microsemi’s leading edge IC solutions for communications, industrial, aerospace, and defense/security markets. Mr. Pickle received his BSME, Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of South Florida – College of Engineering.
Jeremy Whitaker has served as our Chief Financial Officer and Secretary since September 2011. Mr. Whitaker returned to Lantronix after serving briefly as Vice President, Corporate Controller at Mindspeed from January 2011 to September 2011. Prior to Mindspeed, Mr. Whitaker served as Vice President of Finance and Accounting for Lantronix from September 2010 to January 2011, where he was responsible for managing all worldwide finance and accounting functions. Mr. Whitaker also served as Lantronix’ Sr. Director of Finance and Accounting from February 2006 to September 2010 and its Director of Finance and Accounting from August 2005 to February 2006. Prior to August 2005, Mr. Whitaker held vice president and director level finance and accounting positions with two publicly-traded companies. Prior to that, Mr. Whitaker served as an Audit Manager during his six years at Ernst & Young LLP. Mr. Whitaker earned a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from California State University Fullerton and a master’s degree in accountancy, from University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business.
Jacques Issa is Vice President of Marketing and brings to Lantronix a wealth of experience, having managed large P&L’s and establishing a strong ecosystem with strategic IC and software partners at such companies as Motorola, Zarlink, Microsemi, and most recently at Virtium. With a results-oriented focus on growth and profitability, he contributed extensively to the organic and acquisition growth of these companies. He has a strong background in Gateways (telephony, Wi-Fi, and Ethernet) and IoT applications (voice processing and PoE). He is a graduate of Purdue University with a BSEE and MSEE.
Roger Holliday joined Lantronix as Vice President of Worldwide Sales in January 2020. Prior to joining Lantronix, Holliday was executive vice president at Microsemi Corporation, where he was part of the management team that grew the company to $2 billion in revenue. He held a variety of sales and marketing positions before being promoted to General Manager of the company’s Communication Products Group, which accounted for a significant portion of Microsemi’s revenue. He joined Microsemi when the company acquired Linfinity Microelectronics in 1999. At Linfinity, he held various roles in product management, applications and sales management. Roger is a graduate of University of Michigan with a BSEE.
Bass comes to Lantronix from CEVA where he held the position of director of strategic programs since 2019. Previously, Bass served multiple roles at Microsemi Corporation from 2001 to 2018, culminating with his role as vice president of Research & Development from 2013 to 2018 where he led the company’s technology and product roadmaps for the voice circuit and power-over-ethernet product lines. Prior experience includes engineering roles at Clearcube Technologies and Schlumberger. Bass holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
Anita Kumar joined Lantronix in August 2021 as part of the acquisition of Transition Networks. As Vice President of Business Operations, Ms. Kumar leads the company’s worldwide manufacturing and supply chain operations, and the Information Technology and Information Systems teams. In addition, she provides focus and leadership on the company’s key customer programs. Ms. Kumar brings 20 years of technical and leadership experience in data networking. Prior to joining Lantronix, Ms. Kumar served as CEO of Communication Systems Inc, General Manager of Transition Networks and held technical and leadership positions in Product Management and Engineering at ADC, Nortel Networks, Lucent Technologies, AT&T and Ericsson-Raynet. Ms. Kumar has a Ph.D. in Physics from Ohio University.
David is Vice President, Business Affairs and Corporate Secretary of Lantronix (Nasdaq: LTRX), a global provider of secure turnkey solutions for the Internet of Things and remote environment management. Prior to joining Lantronix, David was part of the management team that grew Microsemi’s annual revenue from approximately $370 million to $2 billion. David played a key role in executing Microsemi’s acquisition strategy while building compliance programs and a legal department. He holds a J.D. degree from Duke University School of Law.
Rob joined Lantronix in 2020 as head of corporate development and investor relations, bringing with him over twenty five years of capital markets experience. Prior to joining Lantronix, Rob was senior vice president of corporate development at Microsemi Corporation from 2007 until its sale in 2018. His prior experience includes 12 years as a semiconductor research analyst where he was named to the Wall Street Journal’s All American Research Team and received Institutional Investor’s Home Run Hitter award, during his tenures at Montgomery & Co. from 2005 to 2007, Adams, Harkness & Hill from 2003 to 2005, CIBC World Markets/Oppenheimer from 1997 to 2003, and Dean Witter Reynolds from 1995 to 1997. Rob is a CFA charterholder.
Jonathan Shipman joined Lantronix in May 2019. Prior to joining Lantronix Jon had a tenured career at Twitch (acquired by Amazon), YouTube, and eBay to name a few. His responsibilities spanned global initiatives across infrastructure, procurement, engineering, product strategy, programmatic advertising, and emerging market content strategy where he built and scaled one of the world’s largest video networks. Additionally, he led the reformation of the product and engineering organizations into vertically integrated groups, emphasizing accountability and team empowerment along with building out network infrastructure and driving growth in emerging markets.
