CDFTF100 multiport Ethernet Fiber to Telco Twisted Pair media converter

The CDFTF100 contains multiple Ethernet fiber to twisted pair media converters. (The initial implementation of the product contained two media converters.) Each of these converters is identified by its own Subdevice number. So, for every value of cdftfSubdeviceIndex, there is both a Fiber port and a Twisted Pair port (rather than one or the other), and those two ports are tied together into a distinct media converter.

Fiber ports are located on the front of the device, and the twisted pair ports are routed to 32 pin DIN connectors on the back of the cabinet. The CDFTF100 is compatible only with designated “Telco” Point System cabinets, which have these DIN connectors and their associated wiring built in.

The CDFTF100 always operates at 100Mbps, and Link Passthrough and Auto MDI/MDIX are always enabled.
