Connecting on a different level…
This past Saturday, Team Lantronix connected on a different level – by volunteering at Mary’s Kitchen, a non-profit organization whose aim is to provide compassionate care for the less fortunate in Orange County, California. All services are conducted in a manner, which preserves dignity. 100% of monetary donations received go directly to maintain the services provided for Mary’s Kitchen guests and all activities are supported by individuals who volunteer their time.
Lantronix employees, friends and family representing engineering, marketing, sales, human resources, and IT departments kicked off the start of the holiday season by assembling sack lunches, interacting with young and old Mary’s Kitchen guests, and distributing clothing.
The event marked the second year in a row that members of the Lantronix team reached out to the guests of Mary’s Kitchen and was one among several community volunteer events that the company participated in throughout the year. This year’s past community events included volunteering with Orangewood Foundation to help support foster youth and promoting livable communities through Shadetree Partnership.
“Our company motto is Connect Smart, Do More,” said Nha Trang Tran, Human Resources Assistant and team leader for the November 21 event. “For Lantronix, that motto extends beyond the solutions we produce – it also includes the communities we work and live in.”
