Lantronix Environmental Policy Statement

With the increased understanding of the importance of the role played by corporations in establishing and implementing programs that create and support an environmentally sound society. In recognition of this, Lantronix is dedicated to producing products that minimize their environmental impact throughout their lifecycle. This includes designs that incorporate environmentally friendly materials, produced using methods and materials that are generally recognized as environmentally safe and clean, and packaged using recyclable materials. Lantronix business principles hold the environment in high regard, and we have established programs and guidelines to assure these objectives are met and measured by regular management reviews. The goal of Lantronix is to lead our industry by setting a positive example for others to follow.

Specifically, this policy is intended to eliminate the use of heavy metals, ozone-depleting chemicals, and other banned materials from our designs, and to use product and packaging materials which are recyclable and reusable, minimizing the waste stream over the life of the product.

We select suppliers that embrace and support these goals, and to the degree possible, assist them in the establishment of environmentally friendly programs. We encourage our suppliers to support a policy of continuous process improvement, while remaining committed to procuring environmentally sound products from suppliers that adopt and promote environmental responsibility.

ISO Registration

ISO Registered - QualityISO Registered - EnvironmentalAt Lantronix, we believe that our quality differentiates us as much from our competition as our innovative products. Reflecting our unwavering commitment to quality, reliability and environmentally-sound manufacturing processes, we are ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001 registered. These key certifications enable us to strengthen our market through quality processes and environmental management systems, and ensure that we meet or exceed government standards.

Both certifications are key to meeting customer and partner ISO requirements, and give them the confidence of knowing that they are aligned with a company that cares about superior quality and environmental standards. Our customers can be assured of a long-term solution that won’t need upgrading to meet future requirements for ISO-certified products.

ISO 9001:2000 is used as a business process tool that helps companies manage their businesses in a controlled manner, resulting in the production of high-quality products. ISO 14001 is a management system that helps companies develop and execute a policy that ultimately reduces harmful effects on the environment. A European Community Directive (2002/95/EC) requires that all products sold into Europe by July 2006 meet ISO 14001 standards. Both standards are established by ISO (International Organization for Standardization), the world’s largest developer of standards, to provide the framework for compatible technology worldwide.
