The Open-Q™ 6490CS SMARC SOM Development Kit is the premier evaluation and prototyping platform for Lantronix’s next-generation industrial SMARC System on Module (SOM) product line. Powered by the high-performance Qualcomm^®Dragonwing™ QCS6490 chipset, this versatile kit accelerates proof-of-concept engineering for advanced computer vision and multimedia applications.

Designed to a standard SMARC form factor, the platform seamlessly showcases the SOM’s elite capabilities, exposing robust interfaces for MIPI CSI cameras, displays, Ethernet, high-fidelity audio, and sensors. It serves as both an ideal starting point for product evaluation and a comprehensive reference design for complex hardware integration.

Each production-ready kit delivers a complete development reference platform. It features the Open-Q™ 6490CS SMARC SOM, an open-frame carrier board for unrestricted I/O access, and a curated suite of accessories engineered to compress your time-to-market.
