| PREMIUM-FEATURES are extensions (APP) implemented in the GPS tracker firmware to provide additional functionality to customer needs. You need an activation code to enable and use a PREMIUM-FEATURE. The activation key is linked to the serial number of the GPS tracker and it is only generated by Lantronix. To receive the activation key(s) which is (are) unique for each PREMIUM-FEATURE and GPS tracker, please consult your local sales representative for more information. After receiving an activation key you can either send it manually via SMS, locally or automatically online (server-based) to the GPS device by using the corresponding PFAL command no matter if the device is already deployed in the field or not. You can also order GPS trackers with pre-activated PREMIUM-FEATURE(s). This needs a new SKU.
