According to the Center of Digital Education, K-12 schools in the U.S. will spend almost $10 billion on educational technology in 2014. In higher education, the National Retail Federation states that student spending for electronics (tablets, laptops, etc.) is up 20% from last year.
There’s no doubt that classrooms are going digital – yet even with the increase in tablets, Chromebooks and other mobile devices, there remains a strong need to print. But printing from these mobile devices can be a challenge – with software downloads and kludgy apps that may or may not be effective.
With this in mind, we have launched a new program called Print and Learn (PAL) to help schools maximize their existing resources to provide students with the tools they need to be successful in the digital environment. PAL closes the loop on the missing link for students and teachers who need to print from their mobile devices. The program consists of a 20% discount (using code: PAL20) on our xPrintServer, idea sharing on new Facebook page, a year-long photo contest and professional services. It is applicable to both K-12 and higher education. The National Parent Teacher Organization has even joined as an official sponsor.
So what are you waiting for? #BeOurPAL today!
